On a two decades-long quest to realise proper John Williams-y orchestral versions of Commodore 64 music\, he teamed up with legendary composer Rob Hubbard to make it happen. How does a three voice tune become an 80-piece orchestra epic? How on earth could we afford it? Is anyone interested? All these questions and more shall be answered\, probably. \nThis will be a prerecorded interview with live Q&A with Mr. Abbott afterwards. \n12 PM Lunch and Shopping Break\n1 PM Scott Hutter – What’s New in GEOS\nWill go over some of the new happenings in the GEOS arena. Paul Murdaugh’s updated GEOS reference documentation\, a new desktop created in cc65\, code decompile/reconstruction to source\, new drivers\, and other projects. \n2 PM Douglas Compton – Commodore 128 – 80 Column Business Software\nThe C128 is a misunderstood machine for sure. So many today just think it is useful for C64 mode and forget the large amount of productivity software that was available for it\, especially in the gorgeous 80 column mode. I want to introduce you to some of that Software and show how useful or really was. We may also be touching on CP/M mode\, too. \n3 PM Jeffrey Brace – 80’s Bedroom exhibit with C64 and The Print Shop\nI will be showing off the 80’s bedroom exhibit at the VCF museum in Wall\, NJ. \n4 PM – Jim Drew – New CBMSTUFF products\nNew products being released include a new C64\, the Retro Repair Station\, and SuperCart. \n5 PM Jeffrey Brace – C64 Capsela Robot\nI will be showing a Capsela robot controlled by a C64. I will tell a little about the modified BASIC programming language used to control the robot. \n6 PM End of Presentations – Social Time\nEveryone is welcome to join one of the other breakout rooms and carry on the discussion!
